Hi guys,
First of all a huge thanks from us for your help with the group last week – everyone was massively impressed with the service. Andy, who was also accompanying the group, is our number one sales guy and he hadn’t seen how it worked before. He wrote the following to the rest of the res team in his trip report:
BLACK TIE RENTALS
This is a must for clients who want to rent ski and snowboard equipment. They have a really good team based near the village and not only do they have good gear, but the level of service is top notch. The guys are all mad keen skiers and know their stuff. I know Jon goes on about how good they are, but I didn’t really didn’t know how well it worked until I saw it in action. I had a pair of Stockli skis which had been used once and Jon had what looked like a brand new pair of Dynastar Big Troubles.
So everyone here is also aware of what a great service you guys provide. Thanks again for your help with the group, and hope to see you again next time I’m out there.

Now that I am back in the UK, I wanted to drop you a quick note to say a big
thank you for the ski rentals. I have to say that the equipment,
staff and overall service were all absolutely first class and I wouldn’t
have a second’s hesitation in recommending Black Tie to friends or clients.

I have filled out your customer survey with my positive thoughts but if you
ever need a quote, testimonial or recommendation etc. then I would be happy
to provide that at any time too.

“The Black Tie team provided us with tremendous service and excellent quality equipment at reasonable prices. We were met in our apartment upon arrival and fitted with boots and skis by a team of four for a family of four. It was all done in 30-45 minutes and we barely had to move from our chairs. Admittedly it was the start of the season, but all the equipment was brand new and of good quality. After fitting, the equipment was then whisked off to the Overnight Ski & Boot Valet at Mountain Village where it was waiting for us the next morning, only a few yards from the Gondola. So impressed were we with the service and convenience, we made use of the valet service throughout the week of our stay and Black Tie collected the equipment from there after our last day's skiing. Such a luxury for us European skiers - we've never had it so good! Can it ever be the same again? I also bought my own boots during the week and Black Tie cheerfully collected my rental boots from the valet and refunded me the rental cost for the remainder of the week. All in all great friendly service. Highly recommended!”
